The Prelate of Opus Dei, Msgr. Fernando Ocariz visited the school last August 4, 2023. He was met by the Management Staff and was welcomed by the students with 'I Love Cebu', the lyrics of which were changed into "We Love Padre".

He blessed the students, some Badjao women who finished a course in BCPD, the staff, faculty members, mentors, BCPD Patrons and Board Members.
He was given a toque and the school declared him The Master Chef of BCPD. Another token was a small backpack, an invitation for him to come to Cebu for another visit.
He was shown the architect's perspective of the BCPD "dream school" in Minglanilla. He wrote on it: "With my blessings" and he signed his name.
It was a joyous occasion for everyone!
